Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering obtained from the Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Provided that the candidate holding bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.
- Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Pay Scale/ Salary
- Fixed Pay ₹40,800/- per month for first 5 years.
- After satisfactory completion of 5 years service: Pay Matrix Level-5 ₹29,200 – 92,300.

Selection Process
The competitive examination will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern through COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) or OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION (OMR) method.
