- Assistant Section Officer: 18 – 38 Years
- State Tax Inspector: 18 – 38 Years
- Police Sub-Inspector: 19 – 31 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification
- Degree of a Statutory University or any other qualification declared equivalent by the Government.
- Candidates appearing in their final year degree examination are eligible to apply for the Combined Pre-Examination; however, they must pass their degree examination by the last date for accepting applications for the Main Examination of the concerned post.
- If the post requires an internship or work experience, the candidate must have completed such internship or work experience by the last date for accepting applications for the Main Examination.
- Knowledge of Marathi language is required.
Physical Standards (for Police Sub-Inspector only)
- Male Candidates (General/Third Gender):
Height: Minimum 165 cm (relaxation applicable)Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm required; unexpanded minimum 79cm

Salary
- Assistant Section Officer (Group-B Non-Gazetted): Pay Band S-16 – Rs. 48,900 – 1,42,400 per month plus additional allowances as per rules.
- State Tax Inspector & Other Posts (S-14): Pay Band S-14 – Rs. 38,600 – 1,22,800 per month plus additional allowances as per rules.
