Selection Process

  • The selection process consists of an online Preliminary Examination (if required) and a Main Examination conducted by UPCISB.
  • Based on the Preliminary Exam, up to 15 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.
  • On the basis of Main Exam result, up to 3 times the number of posts will be called for interview (where applicable) and up to 5 times the number of posts for proficiency test, wherever prescribed.
  • Both Preliminary and Main examinations will be objective-type online tests with multiple choice questions and negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.
